Biography

Bong Jun Choi received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Yonsei University, Korea, both in electrical and electronics engineering, and the Ph.D. degree from University of Waterloo, Canada, in electrical and computer engineering. He is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science, State University of New York Korea, Korea, and jointly a research assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science, Stony Brook University, USA. His current research focuses on energy efficient networks, distributed mobile wireless networks, smart grid communications, and network security. He serves as an editor of KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems and a member of the Smart Grid Core Security Technology Development Steering Committee, Korea. He also serves on the technical program committees for many international conferences such as IEEE PECON, IFIP NTMS, and IEEE CMC. He is a member of the IEEE and the ACM.
